1994’te Hacettepe Üniversitesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümünü bitirdikten sonra aynı bölümde lisansüstü eğitimini tamamladı. Çok sayıda kitabın editörlüğünü üstlendi. Farklı yayınevlerinde editör, çevirmen, yayına hazırlayan ve danışman olarak yayıncılık sektörünün pek çok alanında çalıştı. 2009-2015 arasında Bilgi Üniversitesi Karşılaştırmalı Edebiyat bölümünde 2015-2016 bahar sömestrinde Essen-Duisburg Üniversitesi’nde ders verdi. Halen Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümünde ders vermekte, Türkiye Yayıncılar Birliği bünyesinde düzenlenen Yayıncılık Okulu’nda editörlük eğitimleri koordinatörlüğünü yapmakta ve OKUYAY Platformu’nda sektör uzmanı olarak çalışmaktadır.



After graduating from Hacettepe University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 1994, she completed her graduate studies in the same department. She had been the editor of numerous books. She has worked in many fields of operation of publishing so as an editor, translator, and consultant. Between 2009 and 2015, she gave lectures at the Comparative Literature Department of Bilgi University and after, in the spring semester of 2015-2016 at the University of Essen-Duisburg. She currently teaches at Boğaziçi University Turkish Language and Literature Department and also works as the coordinator of editorial trainings at the Publishing School held by Turkey Publishers Association, and as the industry expert in the OKUYAY Platform project.
